I visited McGann Family Dental for the first time yesterday and my experience was top-notch from beginning to end. Scheduling was easy, and they even texted me to see if I wanted to move my appointment up after a last-minute cancellation.
I hadn't been to the dentist in longer than I'd care to admit, but there was no shaming or judgement at all. They simply gave me a recap of where I'm at and helped me put together a plan to address the issues they found.
Amber was super friendly and helpful, as was everyone else I worked with. Scheduling my follow-up appointment and my next cleaning were easy, so I'll definitely be back again soon!

Very professional, but friendly. On time with appts, they make you feel at ease. I feel they listen to what I am asking and or saying.

Dr. McGann and his staff are the best. I don't like going to the dentist but they always are able to put me at ease before the procedure even starts. They even call you at home the next day to see how you're doing. I drive 1 hour to get there and it's worth the drive.

Always a pleasant experience when visiting McGann Family Dental from walking in the door and being greeted by the welcoming front desk staff and the warm reception area to the very competent hygienist, Amber, to my semi-annual check with Dr. McGann.

First visit, xrays, pictures, and a dental plan complete with surprisingly reasonable costs all provided by a friendly staff. My visit included cleaning my teeth. Kady was so gentle I almost dozed off. This will be my dentist from now on.

McGann Family Dental has been a great dental clinic for me. They were able to quickly get me in when I broke a tooth even thought I had not been to their clinic before. Within in a week I had a new crown which they made right at the clinic. All the staff have been welcoming and skilled at their jobs. They made me feel right at home in their care!

Great experience at McGann Family Dental - I moved from west metro and had to find a new Dentist....I put this off for months and finally decided to try McGann Family Dental. My hygienist (Melissa) was very friendly, efficient, provided details about what she was doing and shared other resources she knew of in the east metro. I am glad to have found a new local dentist !

The folks working the reception desk are the most helpful I've encountered in a dentist office. Questions regarding coverage of insurance were professionally answered and what couldn't be easily answered, was researched by contacting my insurance - unprompted and in real time. In my experience, the patient is on the hook for figuring out any non-straight forward insurance questions with the provider. It was a wonderful surprise to have someone assist and demonstrated great customer service.
Additionally, the hygienist are personable and kind. They take their time cleaning and understanding your situation. Dr. McGann is very professional and extremely well versed in dentistry. He was able to give me answers to an on going issue I had after my first visit with him. Conversely, I had 3 visits at a different dentist office who couldn't determine root cause, so they performed a crown ( now I know it was their last ditch effort to resolve the issue - but it didn't. In result, I paid for a costly and uncomfortable procedure on a good tooth. I'm very happy I decided to try a new clinic! McGann Family Dental is quick to get you in, but they don't shove you out the door after your appointment is through. I would recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a new dentist!

Went in for a crown and was amazed that Dr. McGann was able to make the crown right there in his office. In 90 minutes I walked out the door with a new tooth. No second appointment to come back to have it installed. Very impressed.

Called yesterday morning as I was having a sore area in my mouth and worried that I was going to have a abscessed tooth going into the holiday week-end. I was able to get in and had it checked out. My tooth started hurting and I was getting headaches from pain, sent an email via site late at night for an appointment asap as I knew the holiday was coming soon and hoped somehow they could help. Got a call early in next morning, after discussing with Chris he got me in as last patient of day, turns out tooth was cracked and needed to come out, Dr McGann took care of it , no one had issues with staying a bit later to accommodate me.

I have had my new crown for four days and I wanted to let you know how pleased I am. This is my first dental implant and I am very glad I made the decision to go with the implant solution Dr McGann recommended. Thank you!

Glad I found this place. After not seeing a dentist 4 yrs and having wisdom tooth pain I decided it was long overdue to find a dentist. I used my insurance list and called 5 different places (all of whom said no new patients unless friends or family), I was exhausted by the time I hit McGann on the list. However I am beyond pleased it worked out how it did. All the staff is so caring! The hygienist Amber was so gentle.

I was very pleased with my visit to Mc Gann Family Dental. Everyone was warm and inviting. I was told exactly what was being done and why throughout my visit. I also liked the fact that Dr. Patrick McGann explained what might be happening to my tooth and chose the least invasive treatment first and if that doesn't work then we will proceed with a crown.

I was seen early. Initial diagnosis appears to be reasonable. I was referred to a specialist. Will know more end of the month. Staff was pleasant and professional.

For a routine exam it was a smooth and pleasant experience! Something I never would have said about any of the other dentists that I've seen in my 64 years! As many people, going to the dentist is Not my favorite place to go. I have found my visits to Dr Patrick McGann have been very pleasant. McGann Family Dental has a very friendly staff. Upon arriving today, I was served a cup of hot coffee with flavored cream and bottled water while I waited for my son to get his teeth cleaned. I am always happy with Dr. McGann’s dental work. He’s been doing dentistry a long time, and I feel completely safe having him work on my teeth. McGann Dental also uses text for correspondence, which I love. Chris, in the office, is exceptionally caring and always pleasant in my interactions with him.

Know what they’re doing, explain what needed to be done to my teeth and let me decide what I wanted done. .. cleaning, polished plush I had chipped teeth (which I want fixed) so I was told the procedure and cost. I agreed to all of it as reasonable and want to keep my own teeth and as good as possible. Appointment scheduled so ready for great teeth again!

This is the BEST dentist I have been to in a very long time. They were able to get me in to get my wisdom teeth (upper) removed in one day and I feel so much better. I am now going to them for my regular dental care as my dentist moved to Texas. Highly recommend !!!

I love coming here as the staff are so very caring. I had a tooth that needed to be pulled to get ready for implants and suddenly it was loose. I had put it off for a couple weeks due to family concerns and when I called Monday a.m., I was told to come in an hour.

The staff are so kind and helped me through this process. The chair I was in either has heat or massage and of course, I took the massage.

The twice yearly teeth cleaning was thorough, felt good, and professionally completed.

It was my first visit and I have no complaints. They took some extra time to get acquainted and to create records. The staff was friendly and answered any questions that I had.

My planned dental appointments, with McGann Family Dental, have never been made with any sort of apprehension. Dr.Patrick McGann & his wonderful staff, have accomplished miracles on me. I visited Dr. McGann and his office yesterday. I have been in search of a new dentist and now I can say I've found it! My cleaning and exam was the best that I've ever experienced! I usually have sensitivity when it comes to my cleanings, but I had no issues with them. They made me cozy with blankets, soothing music, soft hands and so many pictures and details. They even squeezed my son in last minute with me so that he could get his cavity quickly taken care of even though he didn't have an appt.

I highly recommend McGann Family Dental. Dr. McGann and his staff are friendly, skilled, and personable. The office is nice and easy to get to. The overall experience is the best I can imagine for a dental visit. Also, Dr. McGann installs porcelain crowns that seamlessly adhere to your teeth vs. clunky, fake-looking caps.

When our long term Lake Elmo dentist retired several years ago, we used another dentist in a local group, never really satisfied with the advice we were given regarding the tooth and gum aging changes going on in our mouths. We found what we looking for with Dr. McGann and his wonderful staff. Our advice? Set up an appointment so you can stop searching for a good dentist .

Had my annual dental visit. Teeth cleaning and inspection. Got in a few minutes early, and was done in about 30 minutes. Hygienist was pleasant and professional. Dr. McGann as well.

I'm old enough to start having crowns replaced and the procedure was very slick. Never felt anything when the old crown was removed. New crown made in a few minutes. Walked out ready to eat. Didn't even need a bite adjustment a week later. Very slick process. Excellent job by Dr McGann and staff.

After 33 years under Dr Grabowski's care of my horrible English teeth, I was at a crossroads and apprehensive about what to do for dental care. Dr McGann was happy to answer my questions and assured me of his care philosophy being similar to Dr Grabowski....ie conservatively watching things. The new technology of close up camera pictures of problem areas is really nice. It's a deal!

I am replacing an old crown. Out with the old and in with the new temporary without even an ounce of pain. I was put to ease. the staff is very attentive and yet friendly. I go back in two weeks So far so good.

I just had my initial visit to this clinic. The clinic is very easy to get to - right off 694. The staff was welcoming and efficient. Both Dr. McGann and his assistant were personable and pleasant, yet also highly professional. It seems that they are very focused on each patient's needs and preferences. Unfortunately, I need to have some work done. Although no one ever really looks forward to dental work, Dr. McGann's credentials and my initial visit give me confidence.

I have been coming to this office when it was only Dr. Grabowski. I have now seen Dr. McGann and he is also very good. Staff is awesome.

Very friendly place! Loved Amber! So glad I found this place after leaving my other dentist. My teeth would always hurt for weeks after getting them cleaned with the hygienist at my previous dentist. Amber was so gentle and I didn’t come out with sore sensitive teeth afterwards. Definitely going back and using them for all future appointments. Another plus, Dr. McGann also does Botox!

I went here for a second opinion after another dentist office told me I had a cavity in a back molar and they would have to remove a wisdom tooth to get at it. McGann dental was able to fill the cavity without removing the wisdom tooth! It was a great experience and McGann dental is now my new permanent dental home!

I highly recommend this place to anyone who has ever had anxiety over dental care. I've always hated going because TMJ is painful, but they effortlessly finished an emergency root canal in roughly an hour and I will never go anywhere else. The hygienist is my favorite cause she is super funny and makes the whole thing seem like not a big deal at all. God bless em cause I'd never be able to do that job!

I agreed to all of it as reasonable and want to keep my own teeth and as good as possible. Appointment scheduled so ready for great teeth again!
